My SIL has been wanting to sew this quilt for about a year now. She has been gathering her fabric, and this week she came to sew it with me! The pattern can be found here.
Here's some pictures of our process... sewing... the blocks the top (except for borders) with borders
I need to make a blanket for our new baby. Any ideas of something cute. I want it made of mostly flannel, because that is what all my kids have attached to.
Courtney- There are so many cute ideas out there! This site has alot of different ideas...http://www.modabakeshop.com/...just search for "baby quilts" to find ones just for babies. Also, if you want something really simple you can pick a yard of your favorite fabric with a big print or panel and add 2-3 borders (1", 2", 3") to it. I think you can add a flannel back to any quilt to make it cuddly. Also, if you give me your email, I have a quilt pattern that I'm working on for Robbie that's really cute that I'll scan and email to you. It's one large log cabin block with prairie points on the edge for a boy or scallops for a girl.

I love it! You girls whipped that out in no time at all! Good job!
